I was tasked with creating complementary brochures for both Attorneys and Support Staff to highlight the benefits roll-out Human Resources was implementing. These brochures housed all aspects of the employee benefits packages, and where comprehensive in Skadden’s well-rounded support. I created the briefcase/house Work/Life icon and pattern in addition to laying out the content of the brochures.
20 Years in Tokyo
Skadden celebrated 20 years in their Tokyo office, and I worked with our team in Japan to translate both the save the date invitation and formal invitation so that it read in English and Kanji.
I referenced traditional woodblock carvings to illustrate the florals for the save the date, and pulled inspiration from the Kanji characters themselves to design the “20” logo. Both projects were a lot of fun to not only design but to conceptualize, as we pulled in unique printing and production techniques to really create a “wow” factor.
